蟹

　アメリカ人の生物学者の乗ったヘリコプターがカーブをえがき渓谷をぬって流れるように谷間の中に墜落した。操縦士は即死だった、墜落現場の湿った空気の中。静かな数々の山鳥の声が響き、それを聞き澄んだ空気をすいながら救助された学者は、自分の担架の下を通って蟹の集団が森にはいってゆくのを見た。ぶっきらぼうに横這いしてゆくその甲羅が金属に見えた。それは川に生息するような蟹ではなく、海にいるような奴だった。その中身に興味がわいた。甲羅を剥いだのはすぐ後だった。。蟹を並べて潰し比べた。その時学者の四肢に電流を流した。そして呟いた。「誰にも干渉させない。絶対成功させる。」翌日新聞にも記事が載った。彼はノーベル賞をとった物理学者でもあった。世界中から記者が集まった。学者は会見で発言した。「上空でエネルギーの流動を調べるある実験を行っていた。その研究内容と墜落した山に多大な類似点がある。蟹と関連性があると思う私は興味を持った。ここで実験がしたい。上空から観察しているとここの森林になにかがあると確信した。」

　その入院先のベッドの中ですでに計画は進行していた。学術書が個室のロッカーに並び、片っ端から読みあさり、彼は膨大なスケジュールを書いた。山のように難解なメモがたまった。学者は絶えずディスクになにか吹き込んでいた。音声の録音されたディスクにはナンバーがふられ、彼の活躍している本国に送られた。電話でも絶えず助手に連絡を取った。眠りながら夢想が広がっていた。学者の枕元には霊気が漂っていた。それは操縦士のものでもありそうでもないほかの誰かのものであるようだった。助手席で彼がしたことそれは恥じるべき行為だった。自分で操縦ができると思いこみ操縦間を奪ったのだ。それにも関わらず彼は一生変わらないだろう。相手をしたら殺されることを知り地獄をみて死んでいった慰霊者たちの霊が、その体験を味わさせられた口先だけのこの男のまわりをとりまいていた。彼の回りには死神の臭いがした。他人を巻き込み利用して連れていってもらうためだけの便利な親戚と同居し、とてつもなく仲の良いそれを自分の回りにはびこらせると同時にそれにとり憑かれて。捧げ与える生け贄には絶えずことかかなかった。彼はそのたびに多くの者を葬って金を貯めていった。いつもは欧州の別荘地で過ごしているこの時期。彼は仕事をすることになった。バカンスをふいにしても、彼の心は不思議に躍っていた。その中思考の枝はからみあってのびて行き一つの大きな幹になっていた。枝にはつぼみが付いていた。後は花を咲かせるだけだった。手配も済んでいた。次々と浮かび上がるイメージは夢とともに内面に浸透していった。その中氷のように固まっていた脳が活性化してくる。縛り付けられていた縄がほどかれ解放される。花は咲きかけていた。彼は休暇中と同じほど自由だった、すべては頭の中で出来上がっていて、後は行動するだけだった。その中は整理され整っていて、大事な記録はナンバー順に、机に並べてあった。彼の思考は順序だって実行される予定だった。疑いはいっさい持たなかった。もう前も後もない、ただじっくりやって行く一瞬が持続することを考えていた。イメージは連なって続いて行く、この新しい仕事という休暇だが、それをやり通すには彼にとってのチャンスであり、咲く花は食虫植物だった。それはさらに獲物をほしがり、甘い汁で誘って食らい始めた。現場は重苦しい修羅場と化すことも分かっていた。ただ獣のように生きればいい、それが彼にとってのモットーだった。餌食を捕まえて食えばいい、ただ彼は獣ではなかった。食いきれないほど必要以上に殺してしまう、前頭葉の発達した生き物だった。ただ彼の食らう肉は余りきっていて、腐って行く一方だった。ただ鈍い思考が中心にあって、いつも上を見上げていた、そこは夜空だが無数の星が眼の焦点にあわずぼけて光っていて、それが数え切れなかったが、すべて自分の支配している物であるように、頭脳は回転していた。次々と浮かび上がるイメージは夢とともに内面に浸透していった。その中昔の女が何人も浮かび上がり、いくつものばかげた行為を行っている彼を嘲っているような、怒っているようなそんなシーンが浮かび上がり腹を立てた彼は声を上げて罵声を浴びせた。すると女は消え失せ、目の前がただ真っ青になった。そこに無数の蟹が現れて彼の回りを取り囲んだ。その甲羅の刻印には顔のような表情を持ち。皆苦しそうにうめきその目のあたりから涙を流し、泣いている。彼にはそれを見ても哀れみも同情も存在しない。学者はその姿を小馬鹿にして腹の中でせせら笑っている。あの墜落現場の湿地帯のじめじめした空気がよみがえり五感がそれをとらえると。蟹が彼の眉間のあたりをはっていった。神経を逆撫でされた彼はいらついて目の前を見る。何も期待せず眼は見る。そして腐敗した臭気の立ちこめる中もがき震えるはさみを使いながら口に餌を運んで食べながら、蟹は泡を吹いて小刻みに微動しささやいている。蟹たちは彼をどこかに呼んでいる。思考を排除し聞いてやるとコケや雑草におおわれた泥沼の中へ回りから取り囲みはさみで持ち上げて彼を背負って連れて行く。彼は喜んで運ばれて行く、女どもが再び現れヤジをとばすが彼には何も聞こえていない。そこで酒を飲んでいる彼にささやくのだ。いい話があると。さあさあ誰にも教えないで秘密だよ。あなたにだけ教えるんだから絶対話さないで、とってもいい話だよ。そのかわり僕たちを大事にして。僕たちを救って。僕たちの住みかは汚いんだずっと前から汚いんだ。食べ物と一緒に腐って行く。僕たちは腐って行くんだ。助けてね、そのごほうびに教えてあげる。それはね・・・。学者はうなずいて話を聞くと蟹たちから逃げだした。彼は夢の中で聞いた。森の奥に彼の鉱脈があるのだ。紙幣の金の鉱脈が。もう確実に存在する。その紙切れの手段でまた確実にいくつも別荘が建つ。今度はスイスにでも建てようか、と考えた学者は夢の中で食べたいだけ金のごちそうを食べ涎を流して寝ていた。欲望に溺れとてもうまそうにほおばりながら、その顔はにやにや笑っていた。
この間に関係者との連絡は済んでいた。すでに彼の行動を支える助手も選出されていた。国内外から優秀な部下や助手を呼び集めていた。エリートぞろいのその集団は蟹部隊と名付けられ、後に学者に人力を尽くす事となる。リーダーとしての助手は、マルク、玄、太田、リン、アリス、の順の階級からなりたっていた。この高額の実験を聞きつけ、スポンサーはぞっとしたが、学者は承知させた。学者は蟹部隊に自分の写真を与え、あがめるよう、崇高するよう命令していた。

　総合病院から退院した彼の頭の中は蟹のことでいっぱいだった。山へ向けて電車に乗っている間、蟹のことを考え時間を忘れ、実感の伴ったイメージとともに思考を費やした。その中、蟹は変幻自在に形を変えはさみでお互いを掴み合い永遠に続く長い棒になっていた。そしてそれは謎に満ちた森の奥につながっている。まどろんだ夢想の中それを必死でたどるが、目的を達成しようと向かって進んで行くと、光の粒子の固まりが阻んで前に進めない、彼は無鉄砲に進もうとするが、防備は堅い、知恵を使って隠してあった武器を使って蟹を一匹づつ殺して行くが、それでも棒の向こうにはたどり着けない。いくら殺しても蟹は生き返り、分裂してどんどん増えて行く一方だ。夢の中で逃げた彼を嫌ってとうせんぼする。棒は突然円周を描くと学者を取り囲み、中心に追いつめる。その陣地の中で彼は戸惑い、心がさまよって行くのに気づく、彼が不自然なのだと蟹が主張する。反論するが蟹は受け付けない。そして動けなくなった彼は主張する。心の中で彼は凍死する。
　しかし実際は何十年も先まで身の上に死が起こらないことを確信している。それを知りながら自問自答する。だが蟹の納得するような結論はでない。彼の結論は金なのだ。彼はいつもそう歩んできた。心の中に有刺鉄線が張り巡らされている。機嫌を直した彼は目的のことは忘れていない。
　ハイヤーを使わなかったことに彼は感謝した。窓の外のながれる風景は彼の目をとおして頭と心に澄み切った酸素と栄養を送った。みなぎる充実感は彼の意識を森の中に飛ばし。それは黄色い太陽の下を舞っていた。心の底にそれでもなぜか空洞があった。それだけは彼にもそれがいったいが何なのか、推測がおよばなかった。独善的な彼にとってそれは落とし穴のようであり彼はそれが何なのか知りたかったが、彼の頭は論理で出来上がっており。感情は欲が支配していて知り得る余地もなかった。ただ目的を達成することのできるという自信と活気にあふれていた。

やがて山の麓に高額で買った。入院している間に改築させてあったテラスのついた極上の一軒家にこもって蟹の研究に熱中し始めた。主にそこでは事務的なことを行い。また部下の気晴らしにそこを利用しようと考えてもいた。山上にも研究所をつくった。。山上の建物はいつのまにか誰にも知らされず出来上がっていた。
　最初の実験が始まった。
　まずサンプルを手に入れて、電流を流し始める用意を始めた。実験器具を海外から取り寄せ設置させた。助手たちは旅館に泊まり。学者は鍵をかけて閉じこもった。山のような書類の中に彼の計画の秘密が隠されていた。漏洩を恐れた彼はそれをコピーをとらずに金庫にしまい込んだ。辺り一面書類の山になり、彼は必死だったが、悩んでも迷ってもいなかった。ただ順調にことが運ぶよう本気で取り組んでいた。
だが山の上の研究所には誰も入れなかった。家の屋敷中が蟹の甲羅でつくられた室内装飾で一面飾られたのはまもなくだった。

玄は森の中に入り込みワイヤーでめぼしいところを囲んだ。蟹は確かにたくさん生息していた。蟹にも決まった行動範囲があると思い、囲んだ中の数カ所に捕獲するための罠を作った。小さな箱に入ると出られない仕掛けをした。案の定数日後うかがうと張り巡らせたワイヤーに数匹の蟹が引っかかって死んでいた。その屍を見たとき、彼は昔学者に味あわされた屈辱を思い出していた。彼は小さなミスをしたのだが学者は彼に刺客まで送ったのだ。それなのになぜ彼の助手を務めるかと言えば、金の為である。憎しみは腹の底に深く重く沈殿している。恨みと疑いがよみがえってきた。暫く神経が高ぶっていた。やがて平静になり、ワイヤーから蟹をひっぱがすと、収集用の容器に入れた。その中の蟹は同じ気に違い無いと感じとった。そいつも学者を呪っていると。そして胸ポケットから学者の写真を取り出すとライターで火をつけ燃した。しかし今の俺には金がいる。それをもらって雇われた以上直接果たし合いをするわけにも行かなかった。容器の中の蟹の死骸が自分の姿のように思え、自分は朽ちているように感じ、焼いた学者の顔を想像し凍りついた背筋がぞっとした。翌日、何匹か、かかっていた蟹をサンプルとしてを学者に手渡した。

過去と未来が混在し混ざり合ったように沈んでいる。
空間を認識している意識がその混在した空間を微妙に知覚している。知覚は時間の進行にまどわされ、戸惑わされ、一定のわくに留まらない。認識は苦痛であったかと思えば、楽になったりする。しかし認識力は十分のようだ。欠けているのはモラル感であり。そこいらの善人とも大差ない男だった。身なりは大男のようであるが、さほど背が高い訳でもなく、まさしく平凡でもある。知恵も知識も有るが、秀でているとも言いがたい。
無防備に仰向けになり、昼寝をしているこの学者は金持ちである。そして自分がいくらの財産を持っているか金額は確かめていない。強盗に財布をそっくりよこせと言われれば、差し出すかどうかは気分次第だろう。
充分寝て起きたらしく目を覚ました。この男は後ろめたさを滅多に味わあない。もし感じる時が有るとすれば、金が関わった時なのか、じっくり起き上がると、マイクに向かって話した。仁に金を送る様話すと、通話を切った。
男の望みはさほど強い物ではなく。こだわっている訳でもなかった。ただ何かをいつもしていた。ただ金をとるように働いていた。ただ祝福されないだけのそんな人物だった。あくびはした事が無い、しかしよく眠る。そして結婚せず、子供がいない。

　僕の監視している川には確かに有毒物が混入しているに違いない。それは思い過ごしか。提出した川の水には毒物は混入していない。
なのに僕は川を監視する役職に就いている。椅子に座って、泳ぐ者がいたら注意し止めさせる。

ロトキュー　書き始め　

序

夏なのに冷えきっていた。

　異常気象が続き，湿った空気の中。雨が降り続いている。
　軍部はロトキューの存在を隠していた。ロトキューは軍部の造った生物で，二本足で立ちＵを逆さにした形をしている。それが道端にごっそり立っていて、水分を吸い込み肌色のように白く膨らんで、びっしり密集している。５０センチ程の手のない生き物で、水分だけとれば生き続けられる。傾斜した非常階段もそれでびっしりだ。建物全体が湿気を帯び。ロトキューは何か我々に訴えている。皮膚を震わせ、へこませたり膨らませ、二つ足で冷えたアスファルトの上の、冷たい雨の滴を体内に取り込みながら。

　雨は止まない。ときどきライフルの射撃音が聞こえてくる。窓から外を見ると人通りはなく黒い軍の車が一台止まっている。薄暗い雨の降る中，寒さの中，鋭敏な空気が体を刺す。静かに何か起こっていた。ここ半日数人の人にしか会っていない。街中の人間はほとんどいなくなっているようだ。皆口々に何か起こっていることを話題にしていた。グロテスクな化け物に軍隊，イメージは無意識に恐怖に結びついていた。数日前まであんな物はいなかった。ただサイレンが鳴り響いていた。外は寒くてたまらない、僕はコートを着たまま自宅に戻った。まだぞくぞくする。石油ストーブに火をつけかじかんだ手をあぶる。やがてかゆくなり、暖まってきた。気が抜けたようでかすかに眠い。過去の自らの日々のことを思い出している。眠気がおそってきて冷えた小さなベッドで眠った。皆眠っているのか。あの生物の存在を心の中で抹殺して。暫くすると機関銃の乱射音が響いた。湿った空気がかすかに乾いて空気の上層で火花が散ったようだった。軍隊が暫くの間とりまいていた。人家を一軒一軒調べている。戸もたたかず侵入してきた軍服の兵士が僕を連行していった。

兵士たちはガスマスクをしていた。どの顔もそれでおおわれていた。僕を何人かの顔見知りの人間と一緒に護送車に乗せると集合場所に届けるようにと兵士に囁いた。車の中で会話に熱中している僕らに運転席の者が気が散るから暫く黙るように言った。何か突然の出来事と遂行しなくてはならない任務で頭がいっぱいのようだった。車内での無線のやりとりを盗み聞きしていると、街の人達が集められ残った人間がいないか厳しく慎重にチェックしている様子だった。車は暫く走り続けた。僕の内面の思考ははりつめ心の中で氷のようだ。ただ凍える体の中、血液が暖かく脈を打ってながれていた。ノイズとして続く無線のやりとりが神経にさわり、僕は自分の内部の続いていた不安に逆撫でされるように気がついた。

車が止まったのは大きな工場の前だった。あちこちから大勢の人々が集められているようだ。知りあいに会い、話をすると皆肌色の生き物の話題をする。どこもかしこもそれでうめ尽くされているようにいっぱいだと言う。

Story plot

"Star where butterfly flutters"

The stage is the earth and a different dimension of 4,000 years at the Christian era. The instruction to face the planetary exploration with the pilot candidate life of one person was received. It takes the vehicle that is called a ship by the instruction from the superior officer. The pilot started on a journey soon. It reached it at last. A suspicious planet there where the living thing of the strange appearance wandered, and the butterfly flitted. The ship became a fuel cutting. Food disappeared. Then, he tries to survive by one person. The butterfly changes for everything there hallucinatorily. The butterfly is changed for everything hallucinatorily there.
The pilot eats the butterfly there in cannot the stand to starvation. It was delicious. No inconvenient in food.

The living thing of this planet is an image as projection that does all pairs of the human race in the earth. The living thing of the strange appearance to live here was a grotesque living thing by which the man inside came out into the open as it was.
It was a different dimension that had been completed from the same constituent member as the human race in the earth where everything became an object.

Living things transmogrify it to the human race more at random than time. Then, man with face known shows up. Then, it changed into the female figure that the butterfly favored and two people intersected. Pilot who finds living thing acquaintance and exchanges it. Are all the illusions or the realities or it doesn't clearly make it to him. However, the doubt if it is not the earth is a frame here when getting acquainted with people there. I think that it knows this world ahead.

He has the dream of the king in the star there.

The one that was here was an appearance of a true human race to whom it had been intentionally transmogrified. The gap of this dimension kept the environment of the earth. In a word, he was sent to the different dimension. All energy heads for one time with the future. Space puts out the existence of energy there. The existence of such a space was noticed, and the plan of time when it had tried to use it gap.

And, when he hoped, the butterfly became a fuel. The pilot who replenished energy with the ship returned to the earth exceeding the time sky.
The hero had been transfigured to the living thing of the strange appearance because he had lived for a long term by the different dimension.
His crime is well known in the earth. It is imprisoned.
He wrote a lot of letters to a nostalgic younger sister at the permitted limited time.
The younger sister who had read a letter was not permitted though offered the elder brother the interview. She cried and suffered.

The pilot was making butterfly's to give it to the younger sister specimen in the future at the time of which it had to have been alive at that time. The butterfly was what he had collected from the different dimension.
Pilot's real image disappears momentarily at the time of pierce the pin to the butterfly.
Butterfly's specimen is at pilot's younger sister's hand now. It is elder brother's remains.

"Two living things"

Another living thing stuck to one living thing, it pasted, and it adhered.

"Aborigine of moonlight night"

Whenever they come month night, the native people begin to dance,

Men prepare the ceremony, enclose the combustion fire, and dance in the evening of the moonlight night,

When everyone looks up at the night sky, The stars are including reflecting,

The mind is flapped like the wind, and enters the inside,

The star unlimitedly is scorched further whenever going, and twinkles intensely,

The life as the star is including reflecting,　

Stands in own feet as a great aborigine,

Tastes sharing while tearing like the hunted meat,

"Mantis's winter"

It did not die though one mantis became winter in the year.
There are no insects of the catch any longer.
The mantis starved very much holding empty belly.

The mantis quietly entered the house.
And, it was noticed that the deep-frying dish of this house was delicious and ate it voraciously.
The mantis became a full belly very much.
Because it was very delicious, the mantis frequently ate the deep-frying dish by stealth.

However, when it is found by the evil punk kid in this house, it is played with and it is killed. The mantis sincerely feared the thing.
The cold of winter can be surpassed and it is very comfortable in this house.
Additionally, that deep-frying dish tasted more delicious than any insects.

The delicious dish so smell was tossed around. The mantis was invited to the smell and faced the kitchen.
That delicious deep-frying dish was fried with the frying-pan on the gas stove.
The mantis has approached slowly toward the frying-pan.
And, it has fallen to the frying-pan.

The mantis was on a roll with fried prawns on the plate of the table.
The bothersome noise was munching made and the evil punk kid in this house ate the dish of the deep-fried mantis very savory.

"Dog and meal"

A yellow dog was walking slowly in the pavement while benumbing.
The dog was cheated yesterday. A man did not open the key though it was invited to a certain man's house. When a man showed to the dog and put it, he was left to pull the drapes, and the a lot of plates ate soup from which a lot of beefs were cooked in the light.
A pale coloured snow has fallen. Fragrant of milk was from the vicinity. The dog went mad chicly with the starvation of the remainder.
Yellow of the dog increases and it thickens.
The dog fell. Someone was calling the dog from an empty time average.
The meteorite fell and it knocked against a concrete wall on dog's facing side. A lot of insects begin to creep from the meteorite. Insects smells dog's smell, and surrounds dog's surroundings. And, after it they had slowly confirmed, the dog was tasted. Dog's meat is very extremely delicious dish for them.

"Hunter"

The hunter who watched for the cat is walking in the town. They are looking for a special cat.
In problem is an organ that exists in the brain of the special cat. It is a teleport, moves, and produces quite the same organ in human's brain. The crime that human who has the organ causes happens in succession. They, hunters, are putting up a special contact lens that distinguishes the dangerous cat to both eyes. "Dog and fish"

The dog copulated to the fish under pale coloured moonlight. The dog changed into the fish and barked. The dog lives the fish internally. The brain that exists in fish's belly thinks. Two brains connected by the synapse talk in the inside of the body. It flies over the sky in the town. The fish discovered the water tank at the street corner. There is a fish that saved the dog in the inside of the body also in that. It is convinced only that it is not us that this phenomenon occurred. The plasma sect ran when they entered the water tank. The space of the earth and the heaven is placed between the top and bottom each other, and those intervals begin to shrink.
They swim actively.

"Cannibals"

When we entered the average of the maze in the jungle and it hesitated, cannibals met us. They restricted us with the rope and stabbed our heart with cutlery one after another.
We were alive though were killed and had been eaten by them, why, We were digested by their stomachs though there was no body, and we became with our soul in the element of aborigines' blood a part of their bodies.
We who had been given the pain killed the curse of cannibals praying in a body.
The people who ate us raised the scream of the last moments, and they struggled as writhing, turning, and having gone mad and died.
We who were sharing its same body died again.

"Candy"

There was a man who was experimenting by the mimicry thing like "Pavlov's dogs".
After it had passed an electric current, a man was giving the dog the candy.
The dog wanted the candy by the condition reflection.

However, the candy was not a thing that wanted to eat only at time when the current was bathed in. In it, it was always good.
The dog had gnawed at the bag that the candy entered before the current was thrown.
A man who was angry did not give the candy though he passed an electric current.

The dog faintly felt the smell of the candy painfully to throwing the current.

"Traveler Abelalto of the wilderness"

The traveler Abelalto of the wilderness met a huge space battleship in the desert at the end of a certain summer on the way of travel. The appearance of the crew of a lot of living things of the strange appearance was able to be seen there.
